Born in 1978, Kelvin Kyung Kun Park is a Seoul based artist that works primarily in the medium of film & video, photography, and installation. Park’s works often deal with the subject of the unconscious and its relations with technology and subjectivity of individuals and the collective. His award-winning films and installations have been shown at various international venues such as Busan International Film Festival, Berlinale, HotDocs, New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Taipei Biennale, and Sharjah Biennale. Park is the winner of Leeum Samsung Museum of Art’s Art Spectrum award, Busan Film Festival’s best documentary award, and a nominee for MMCA Korea Artist Prize and BMW Art Journey as well as being selected for Chanel x Frieze Now & Next. His recent major solo exhibitions include When Tigers Used to Smoke (2022) at OCAT Museum, Shanghai, Double Mirror (2020) at the Shanghai Museum of Glass, Shanghai, China.

박경근은 서울을 기반으로 활동하고 있는 미술작가이다. 무의식과 기술, 집단과 개인의 주체에 대한 주제를 다루는 그의 영상, 사진, 설치 작품들은 베를린국제영화제, 부산국제영화제, 뉴욕현대미술관 (MoMA), 타이페이 비엔날레, 등 에서 전시, 상영되었다. 베를린국제영화제 넷팩상, 부산영화제 최우수 다큐멘터리상, 리움 삼성 미술관 <아트스펙트럼>상을 수상, 국립현대미술관 <올해의 작가>상 후보, 아트바젤 BMW Art Journey 선정, Chanel x Frieze, Now & Next 선정 등, 국내외 활발한 작품활동을 펼치고 인정받고 있다. 그의 최근 개인전 Double Mirror, Shanghai Glass Museum, 2020 과 When Tigers Used to Smoke OCAT Museum, Shanghai 2022, 가 있다.
