Terrestrial Locomotion, Stainless Steel, Glass, Aluminum, Motor, 2019 The fragility and danger of angular glass planes are highlighted as viewers witness delicate glass wings slowly rotating. Danger is emphasized by the possibility of shattering and breaking, reminding us of the inherent risks that come with manipulating such a material. Park defines these kinetic glass sculptures as infinite forms of bodies in relation with each other. Their relations, reflected lights and refracted shadows, are meant to evoke a sense of life, thus shifting the room they stand into an infinite space of transformation.

불안정하고 날카로운 유리면들은 빛과 그림자를 조각내며 회전한다. 쉽게 깨지고 다루기 위험한 유리의 모순적 물성은 관객을 매혹시키고, 부서지기 쉬운 유리면들의 동작은 그들을 긴장시킨다. 작가는 키네틱 유리형상들을 서로의 관계 속에서 존재하는 예측 불가능한 무한한 형태 몸이라고 설정한다. 서로의 관계는 반짝이는 섬광과 조각난 그림자들에게 생명력을 불러 일으켜 결국 그들이 서있는 공간 전체를 무한하게 변형시킨다.
